Jonathan Kaplan, aka the Doctor, is a classically trained rock and blues pianist (also a lapsed farmer) cranking out tunes in the the classic folk/blues tradition. Jonathan Kaplan has performed throughout the Upper Valley as a solo pianist and as part of a dynamic duo with Alan Greenleaf. Although classically trained, his style is bluesy with jazz innuendo and plenty of improvisation.. Often, Jonathan will sit down and just play, encompassing music from Dylan to the Dead, Broadway to the Beatles; a virtual one-man jam band. |
